Starting off on pirate radio alongside legends such as Tim Westwood, she has progressed through broadcasting on cult radio to working for national broadcaster, BBC Radio 1. Stints on the international circuit have included shows for the Italia Network, Triple J (Australia) and Hot 97 in New York. As a club DJ, Sarah has played at almost every major club in the United Kingdom as well as club nights in the U.S.A., France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. In the early 1990Õs, HB was the first female DJ to tour Australia alongside Paul Oakenfold, Graeme Parke, Sasha and The Prodigy.As a promoter, Sarah has run many of her own clubs including Jus ÔHB, Cockroach City and Leave My Wife Alone. DJing at launch and film parties has included the infamous Batman party at Battersea Power Station, The Conspiracy Theory, Mr. Bean, The Labour PartyÕs end-of-conference party in Brighton and The Smash Hits Awards. Between 1994 and 1996, as Freetown RecordsÕ Label Manager, Sarah managed the day to day operations, world licensing deals and A&R for both Freetown and subsidiary SubWoofer. The artist roster included Masters At Work, Kerri Chandler, Arnold Jarvis, Colonel Abrams and Loleatta Holloway. Throughout her career Sarah has penned many articles for different publications including her respected column for Blues & Soul magazine in the 1990Õs.
